DIPLOMA BASIC OFFICE

Characteristics

In order to acquire DIPLOMA BASIC OFFICE CERTIFICATE, a candidate needs to successfully complete one of the following seven (7) modules:

  • Concepts of ITC
  • Computer use and file management
  • Word Processing
  • Spreadsheets
  • Databases
  • Presentations
  • Web Services

As far as the office suit is concerned (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Presentations), a candidate can choose to be examined at MS-Office environment, Apache OpenOffice environment or LibreOffice environment.

DIPLOMA BASIC OFFICE certificate is the only recognized certificate by the Supreme Employee Selection Board where the candidate can choose to be examined at MS-Office environment, Apache OpenOffice environment or LibreOffice environment.

The subjects mentioned above are examined at basic level in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Common Ministerial Decree by the Ministries of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization and National Education and Religious Affairs, while the certification scheme has been certified by the Agency for Vocational Education and Training (EPBD) with G/24869/30-9-2009 decision as recognized by the Greek government for Competitions of the Supreme Employee Selection Board.
